He specializes in enabling organizations to move from a top-down, authoritarian approach to the new leadership paradigm of working together as teammates and partners. In addition to transforming workplace cultures, he helps organizations with empowering high performance workteams, and with coaching skills for team leaders. Dr. McCarter is internationally recognized for his applications of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® in organizations. He is creator of the McWorkstyles leadership assessment instrument. He is the author of the book, Be the Leader People Love to Follow: Using Personality Type and Style for Increased Leadership and Team Effectiveness, three audio programs, three training workbooks, and a new book, Sharing Workplace Success.
